I haven’t been writing as much as I’d like to, but that might be in part because I can’t say the things I’d like to say. I’d like to say that I’ve been working out regularly, but in truth, it’s been a bit sporadic. I’d like to say I’m losing fat, but I haven’t been.

I’m feeling frustrated lately with the lack of any kind of progress – or even satisfaction – with my exercise/nutrition/health efforts. I think I’m starting to get a bit stronger in the gym, but that’s about it. I’m not losing fat (in fact, I might be gaining), and that’s been one of my main goals. I feel like I’m stagnating – like I need something to jump-start things somehow.
So: I’ve signed up for the Precision Nutrition System. Yeah, I know: it sounds corny, and I don’t much like the super-friendly sales-pitch-y tone of some of the pages on the site (a bit too much like a used car salesman). But: Krista Scott-Dixon (of stumptuous.com) is one of their coaches. I’ve been following her for long enough to believe that she wouldn’t get involved with Precision Nutrition if what they were offering wasn’t legitimate and valuable.
Plus, they have a 45-day money back guarantee which I’m not afraid to avail myself of. That’s a decent chunk of time. If I give the program an honest try and I don’t lose at least a few pounds of fat in that time, then I’ll get my money back. And if I don’t give it an honest try in that time, I’ll get my money back. If I do try and I do succeed, then I’ll consider it well worth the money.
The deal-closer? It was on sale.
